Abstract

The present work, has the main objetive of presenting a general overview of the experimental work on schedule-induced behavior. It covers articles describing the different responses reported as induced, the species studied, the effects of the magnitude and nutritional composition of the reward used, the more frequently used schedule of reinforcement, and the temporal distribution of the induced behavior within these schedules. Some critical comments were presented in order to offer some guidelines ofr the problems presently encountered in this research area.
