Abstract

This paper deals with the study of the regulatory mechanisms of child social behavior in natural settings. A conceptual and methodological strategy for the study of the behavioral transitions in preschool and elementary school settings is exposed. The focus of interest is on a specific class of behavioral transition: social interference. Two specific studies were conducted in order to exemplify some of the theoretical and applicative implications of the proposal.
